November Events at the Garden
November 2024 Events
Enjoy a fall day at the Garden! On warm days you may find pollinators visiting the aromatic asters and perennial mums blooming. Look for fall color in leaves on sassafras, pawpaw, spicebush as well as maples and oaks. Keep an eye out for ‘Harvest Moon’ witch hazel blooming in the Driskill Children’s Discovery Garden. Now’s also the time when ornamental grasses are blooming and looking their best! ‘White Cloud’ muhly grass in the Lawn Terrace of the Tandy Floral Terraces turns heads this time of year.
Fall is also a great time for a hike on our Cross Timbers Nature Trail! You may see some fall color in the woods from hickory and oaks, and the big bluestem and other native grasses are at their tallest and most impressive this time of year! Learn more about the prescribed burn we did in October.
Start making your plans to attend Botanic Garden of Lights which opens on Friday, Nov. 29. See the lineup for Sunday Jazz Nights, when Santa will visit and more. Advance tickets are recommended as popular days and times do sell out!
HOURS in November: Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. through Saturday, Nov. 23.
Garden will be closed Nov. 24-28 and open on Select Nights only, Nov. 29-Dec. 30 for Botanic Garden of Lights
Early Member Mornings continue every Friday through Nov. 22. Garden members have early access on Fridays starting at 8:30 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 2, 11 a.m.: Tree Fort Storytime
Saturday, Nov. 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Second Saturday Dog Day
Saturday, Nov. 9 & Sunday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: FREE Admission for active or retired military in honor of Veterans Day.
Friday, Nov. 22, 3 p.m.: Harmony Project Tulsa Holiday Performance
Regular admission is FREE for Garden members. Non-members: $10 for ages 16+, $5 for ages 3-15.
