Valentine’s Day

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a romantic stroll in the Garden.  All guests will get a garden-themed valentine and piece of chocolate in the Visitor Center.

Presidents’ Day

The Garden will be open Monday, February 20 from noon to 5 p.m.  Anyone whose first or last name is a President’s last name will receive half price admission at the door.

Mardi Gras Day

We’ll be passing out free Mardi Gras beads to all guests!

First Friday Horticulture Tour

Join a staff horticulturist for a walking tour in the Garden. Tour will last 30-60 minutes. Free with admission, but pre-registration is required.

Full Moon Nature Hike – Cancelled

Explore the sights and sounds of native prairie and forest with a moonlit hike on our 1.5 mile Cross Timbers Nature trail. Second Saturday Dog Days are special days when your four-legged family member can join you for a walk in the Garden (dogs are not allowed other times). Spring Break: Guided Hike of Cross Timbers Nature Trail

Take a guided walk of the Cross Timbers Nature Trail (1.5 mile).  Trail is not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. This hike is free with paid admission, but advanced registration is required.

Spring Break: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the Garden! Make & Take Clover Containers craft from 10:30am to 12pm. Shamrock mocktails, Irish Coffeeand other drinks will be available for sale all day. This craft is free with paid admission, but advanced registration is required.
