September: Sale, Scarecrows and kick off of Autumn In the Botanic Garden!

September means that fall is just around the corner.  The Garden is lush from spring and summer growth and summer annuals and our perennials are attracting butterflies and hummingbirds!   Our late Thursday nights return with the start of Autumn In the Botanic Garden, Sept. 23-Oct. 31.

Our 9th annual DIG - Day In the Garden is Sunday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Tickets to this family-friendly event include lunch, drinks (beer, wine, mimosas, and a signature cocktail) plus all the activities: live music, costumed characters, stations for making giant bubbles, pumpkin decorating and more!  Early-bird ticket prices through Sept. 6.  Details and Tickets

Tuesdays in September: DOG DAYS

These are special days when dogs can join their owners for a walk (and sniff!) in the Garden. (Dogs are not allowed other times).  Details and tickets.

Thursday, Sept. 16, 10:30 a.m.: TREE FORT STORYTIME
Join Garden staff as they share a nature-related story geared for children ages 5 and under. Free with admission. 

Friday, Sept. 17: FALL PLANT SALE – Members’ Shopping Days
Garden members have first chance to shop our Fall Plant Sale (Online only) starting Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. through Sept. 21 at 5 p.m. Check here for plant list and more information.  Sale opens to public Sept. 21 at 5:01 p.m. and closes Sept. 26 at 11:59 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 18: Celebrate 918 Day!

Tuesday, Sept. 21, 5:01 p.m.: FALL PLANT SALE opens to non-members for shopping. 

Wednesday, Sept. 22, 6 p.m.: ARIA YOGA with Tulsa Opera
Bring your mat and enjoy inspiring opera music paired with guided yoga meditations led by certified instructor Piper Wolfe. Her class will focus on mindfulness and breathing while building greater strength, flexibility, and balance.  

Get ready for fall with a visit to our pumpkin patch complete with the new Bank of Oklahoma Photo Station, hay maze and our annual scarecrow display. Starting Sept. 23, every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. will be Bands & Blooms featuring live music, food truck, and bar. Beginning in October, Thursdays will also be BOO-tanical Bands & Blooms with costume contests and trick-or-treating.
