Seasonal Festivals
In addition to our year-round educational and cultural programming, we have several annual events that have become a tradition for our community, including:
Tulsa Botanic Blooms - our celebration of spring with one of the largest flower displays in the region. Over 200,000 tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocuses and other spring flowering bulbs provide a crescendo of color from 4-8 weeks each spring. Late Night Thursdays begin with the start of Daylight Saving Time and many events are planned including music nights with local musicians, spring break activities and more. The weather decides when bulbs will be blooming, but we celebrate from mid-March to late April.
Autumn In the Botanic Garden includes pumpkin displays, Bands & Blooms on Thursday nights and Scarecrows In the Garden - scarecrows made by groups, families, organizations, businesses and artists which are displayed among 5,000 pumpkins, a hay maze and fall florals. Garden guests vote on their favorite scarecrow for the People's Choice Award.
Botanic Garden of Lights offers a magical escape from the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Make lasting memories with family and friends as you stroll the Garden aglow with lights and enjoy holiday activities fun for all ages.
