Photography & Video Policy

To ensure a positive experience for both photographers and visitors, we ask that the following rules and guidelines be observed.

Reservations are required for photo and video shoots; no walk-up requests are granted.

Garden guests are welcome to take snapshot photos and videos throughout the Tulsa Botanic Garden for both private use and sharing on social media. Drones are not allowed.

The sale or commercial use of photos and videos taken at the Garden is strictly prohibited without express permission from the Garden.

An appointment and permit fee is required for all photo/video sessions which use the Garden as a backdrop. This includes engagement photos, bridal photos, prom photos, celebrations and family portraits

Any unauthorized photo/video sessions on Garden property will be asked to leave and forfeit admission.

Photo Shoot

The fee for a  photo shoot is $100 for up to 6 persons, including the photographer and assistants, for a maximum of one hour. Should the group be larger than 6, the fee is $20 per person. Additional hours may be purchased at a rate of $50 per hour. Garden membership does not entitle the party, or part thereof, to waive this fee. No ceremonies or private events are allowed during your photo session.  Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave and forfeit payment of photo session. Sessions must be confirmed with payment in full 1 week prior to the session. Photography sessions after hours or on days the Garden is closed will be scheduled on a case-by-case basis and require additional fees.

Contact the Marketing Department at 918-289-0330 or info@tulsabotanic.org to schedule or for all other inquiries.

Fees directly support the mission of the Garden to promote the beauty and importance of plants and nature to create a more sustainable and harmonious world.
