June in the Garden

Please note: Starting June 1, all transactions at Tulsa Botanic Garden will be cashless. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

HOURS: Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
ADMISSION: Admission is free for Garden members. Advance, discounted admission can be purchased online up to the day prior to visit.
Same-day admission is: $10 for ages 16+, $5 for ages 3-15, Children 2 and under are free but do need a ticket. 

Friday, June 3, 1 p.m.: First Friday Horticulture Tour
Join a staff horticulturist for a walking tour in the Garden. Tour will last 30-60 minutes. Free with admission, but pre-register on website (next tour will be in September)

Saturday, June 4, 11 a.m.: Tree Fort Storytime
Meet in the shade of our Tree Fort in the Children’s Discovery Garden as Garden staff shares a nature-related story. Free with admission.

Wednesday, June 8: National Best Friends Day
Bring a friend to enjoy the Garden together and receive 2-for-1 admission.

Saturday, June 11, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Second Saturday Dog Day
Dog Days are special days when your four-legged family member can join you in the Garden. From 10 to 1, ARF Tulsa will have dogs looking for fur-ever homes, Pet Supplies Plus and Dogtopia will have information and giveaways. Wading pools will be available for cooling paws after your walk. Free for Garden members and their dogs. Regular admission and $4 for non-member dogs.

Saturday, June 11, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Succulent Bowl Workshop
Design and plant a planter bowl with succulents to take home. Horticulturist Lori Fry will lead this workshop and provide care tips for growing succulents. Wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Registration required. Garden members: $35, Non-members: $40.

Tuesday, June 14: Flag Day
Each guest will receive a free mini U.S. flag, while supplies last.

Sunday, June 19: Father’s Day – free gardening gloves for the first 50 Dads with paid admission (or member tickets), while supplies last.

Tuesday-Sunday, June 21-26, 10 a.m.-5p.m.: National Pollinator Week Plant Sale
Shop onsite for pollinator-friendly plants, as well as a variety of ferns and hardy hibiscus. Details here

Friday, June 24, 12-3 p.m. (come and go): Make a Sensory Fairy Garden
Enjoy an indoor gardening opportunity for the family! Garden staff will help families create a Sensory Fairy Garden to enjoy all summer. Each kit includes directions, pot, soil, three herbs, sand, gravel, marbles, 3 small animal toys, plant labels, Garden sticker and recipe cards. All ages welcome; children must be supervised by an adult. Kit is $25 for Garden members (or $30 day of); $30 for non-members (or $35 day of). Admission must be purchased separately for everyone attending.

Tuesday, June 28, 7-10 a.m.: Members’ Early Morning
Enjoy the Garden in the earlier, cooler hours of the morning! It’s a great time for photography, bird-watching or a stroll through the Garden as our horticulture team prepares for opening.

July 9: Dog Day with: Puppy Haven Rescue, TCC Vet Tech Education Program and Hollywood Feed visiting from 10-1.

July 9, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Terrarium Workshop: Join Nursery Manager Lori Fry for a workshop to put together your own terrarium and learn about proper care. Garden members: $50; Non-members: $60.
