Monday, Jan. 17, 5-8 p.m. – Full Moon Hike
Explore the sights and sounds of our native prairie and forest with a moonlit hike on our 1.5 mile Cross Timbers Nature trail. Trek at your own pace or arrive by 6 p.m. for a guided walk with horticulturist Matthew Southall. Warm drinks and other beverages as well as s’mores kits will be available for purchase before or after your walk with fire pits nearby. Members: $10 for ages 16+, $5 for 3-15 yrs. Non-members: $15 for ages 16+, $6 for 3-15 yrs. Warm drinks and other beverages as well as s’mores kits will be available for purchase before or after your walk with fire pits nearby. Event is come and go, last admission at 7 p.m. to ensure time to walk trail before event closes at 8 p.m. Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Garden members: $10 for ages 16+, $5 for ages 3-15. Non-members: $15 for ages 16+, $6 for ages 3-15.

NOTE: If weather conditions warrant, a decision on cancelling this event will be made by noon the day of the event and will be announced on social media and the website.

Saturday, Feb. 5, 11 a.m.: Orchid Living Arrangement Workshop
Nursery and Plant Records Manager Lori Fry will teach all about orchids and their care as you create your own living arrangement with an orchid, moss and driftwood. Pre-registration required. Participants will have the option to purchase additional materials/kits to create a second arrangement at home for ($20-includes orchid, moss and small driftwood log) ($30 kit that includes orchid, 2 air plants and cork bark in place of log)

Saturday, Feb. 12, 12-5 p.m.: Second Saturday Dog Day!
Dog Days are special times when your four-legged family member can join you for a walk in the Garden. Garden members and member dogs are free. Non-members: regular admission and $4/dog

Saturday, Feb. 19, 11 a.m.: Seed Starting Workshop: Wildflower & Pollinator Gardens  - ONLINE CLASS Only 
Curate your own pollinator garden! Learn to stratify wildflower seeds and wake them from their slumber.

Monday, Feb. 21, 12-5 p.m.: Open Presidents’ Day
Celebrate Presidents' Day at the Garden! Half-price admission for any person with the same last name as any of the 46 Presidents of the United States.

Saturday, Feb. 26, 11 a.m.: Advanced Seed Harvesting and Starting Workshop - - ONLINE CLASS Only 
Join Ellen Weatherholt, Curator of the Children's Discovery Garden & Lakeside Promenade, for a workshop focusing on advanced seed harvesting, cleaning and starting to take your gardening to the next level. Participants will be provided a mix of seeds.


 

ADMiSSION HOURS: Hours are 12-5 p.m. in November, December, January and February. 

TICKETS: Advance tickets, with timed entry, via online purchase are currently recommended.  Admission is FREE for Garden members;  $8 for ages 16+, $4 for ages 3-15. Children 2 and under are free. Walk up admission is not guaranteed.
