Botanical! A Weekend of Culinary Wonder

Botanical! is a 3-day exploration of the way food, drink and the land intersect. Each year we base our theme on a celebrated gastronomic region of the world and explore its every aspect in spirit and in taste with extraordinary culinary talent.  Proceeds from Botanical! events help support the Botanic Garden, a non-profit organization. 

For 2019 we chose the historical area of the Iberian Peninsula, spanning the rich and exotic cultures of Spain, Portugal. We are proud to have featured James Beard and Food & Wine magazine award-winning Chef Jamie Bissonnette of Toro restaurants in Boston, New York city, Dubai and Bangkok. He prepared the food for this event with the help of the students and professors of OSUIT School of Culinary Arts, Portuguese cookbook author Gabriella Opaz, and Botanical Creative Director Rob McKeown.
