Admission

HOURS:  Garden is open Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m, and Saturday - Sunday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (early weekend hours are from June -September)

TICKETS: Advance tickets, with timed entry, via online purchase are currently required.  Admission is FREE for Garden members;  $8 for ages 13+, $4 for ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free.

(Time slot on ticket is your arrival window. In the event of inclement weather, you may request change of ticket date within 7 days of your originally scheduled visit. Tickets not used will be considered a donation to the Garden.)

SAFETY: The health and safety of our guests and staff remain our top priority. The Botanic Garden currently has the following protocols and safety meaures in place:

  • Masks are optional for visitors inside and outside.
  • Advance admission tickets with timed entry are currently required. 
  • Guests are encouraged to practice social distancing from groups other than your own.

 

PETS are not allowed, except on special "Dog Days/Nights".  See our calendar for upcoming dates. Service animals are permitted. Please do not leave pets in vehicles; there is no shade in our parking lot.

ACCESSIBILITY: A limited number of handicapped spaces are available in parking lot, loading/ unloading is allowed in circle drive in front of Visitor Center. Wheelchairs are available for loan on a first-come, first-serve basis (no reservations are taken).  Paths to and throughout the Children's Discovery Garden, A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces and J.E. and L.E. Mabee Grange are accessible. Areas of the Lakeside Promenade and Cross Timbers Nature Trail are not accessible. For more information, call 918-289-0330 or email info@tulsabotanic.org

MUSEUMS FOR ALL: 
Recipients of SNAP or WIC benefits can receive $1 admission for up to 4 people, ages 13 and up, (ages 12 and under free) during normal hours by showing a valid EBT card + photo ID. This discount is available year-round and there is no limit on the number of times a family may visit using this discount. For advance tickets, call us at 918-289-0330 to make your reservations with date and time. Show your EBT and photo ID at check in.  Note: only applies for general admission, not vaild for special ticketed events and programs.

 


HELPFUL TIPS:

  • Please see Garden Etiquette/Visitor Guideline information here.
  • Consider bringing/wearing: sunscreen, hat and comfortable walking shoes. Insect repellent is recommended for hiking our Cross Timbers Trail
  • The Garden is home to lots of wildlife - many birds, butterflies and other insects, lizards and frogs and toads can be spotted in Garden areas and along the Cross Timbers Trail. Bring binoculars for better viewing. 
  • Photography: There's always something to take a photo of! Bring your camera. Tripods and monopods are allowed, but may not block pathways or be placed in garden beds. Photography sessions using the garden as the backdrop require a permit. See more information.  Drones are not allowed. 
  • Vending machines with bottled drinks and snacks are available in our visitor center. A water bottle filler is available near restrooms in the Visitor Center. Picnicking is permitted, however no glass containers, alcohol, chairs or tables may be brought in except for certain events like music nights or star nights when chairs are permitted. 
  • Gift shop items include t-shirts, water bottles, pencils, hats, books, sunscreen, insect repellant, and various children's items.  Garden members receive a discount on gift shop purchases.
