Admission

HOURS:  Garden is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Check our calendar for late night hours during daylight saving time.

TICKETS: Advance tickets, with timed entry, via online purchase are currently required.  Admission is FREE for Garden members;  $8 for ages 13+, $4 for ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free.

Timed entry slots are: 10 a.m.-noon, 1-3 p.m., and 3-5 p.m.  
 (You can arrive anytime during your time slot and do not need to leave before it ends-except for 5 p.m. when Garden closes. In the event of inclement weather, you may request change of ticket date within 7 days of your originally scheduled visit. Tickets not used will be considered a donation to the Garden.)

SAFETY: The health and safety of our guests and staff remain our top priority. In line with CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), and state and local health department guidelines regarding COVID-19, the Botanic Garden has the following protocols and safety meaures in place:

  • Garden staff members are wearing masks and guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks/face coverings, especially inside the Visitor Center and restroom where physical distancing of 6 ft. is not possible.
  • Advance admission tickets with timed entry are currently required. Please have your tickets, either printed or displayed on cell phone, ready to scan before entering visitor center. 
  • Reminders to practice social distancing while enjoying the Garden’s beauty are placed in strategic areas.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at stations in Garden areas.
  • Plexiglas screens are installed at welcome desks in the Visitor Center.
  • Only credit cards are being accepted – no cash transactions at this time.
  • Seating/waiting areas inside Visitor Center are not available.
  • High-touch items in the Children’s Discovery Garden, such as paint brushes, dress-up items, and mallets for musical instruments have been put away.
  • Drinking fountains are inoperable. Refillable water bottle station will be operable.
  • Hand dryers in restrooms are turned off. Paper towels will be available.
  • All touchable surfaces inside our Visitor Center and restrooms are being cleaned hourly.

 

PETS are not allowed, except on special "Dog Days/Nights".  See our calendar for upcoming dates. Service animals are permitted. Please do not leave pets in vehicles. 

ACCESSIBILITY: A limited number of handicapped spaces are available in parking lot, loading/ unloading is allowed in circle drive in front of Visitor Center. Wheelchairs are available for loan on a first-come, first-serve basis (no reservations are taken).  Paths to and throughout the Children's Discovery Garden, A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces and J.E. and L.E. Mabee Grange are accessible. Areas of the Lakeside Promenade and Cross Timbers Nature Trail are not accessible. For more information, call 918-289-0330 or email info@tulsabotanic.org 

Museums for All logo


We participate in Museums for All! 
Recipients of SNAP or WIC benefits can receive $1 admission for up to 4 people, ages 13 and up, (ages 12 and under free) during normal hours by showing a valid EBT card + photo ID. This discount is available year-round and there is no limit on the number of times a family may visit using this discount. For advance tickets, call us at 918-289-0330 to make your reservations with date and time. Show your EBT and photo ID at check in.  Note: only applies for general admission, not vaild for special ticketed events and programs.

Consider bringing/wearing: sunscreen, hat and comfortable walking shoes. Bug repellent is recommended for hiking our Cross Timbers Trail

The Garden is home to lots of wildlife - many birds, butterflies and other insects, lizards and frogs and toads can be spotted in Garden areas and along the Cross Timbers Trail. Bring binoculars for better viewing. 

Photography: There's always something to take a photo of! Bring your camera. Tripods and monopods are allowed, but may not block pathways or be placed in garden beds. Photography sessions using the garden as the backdrop must be scheduled in advance with a permit. See more information.  Drones are not allowed. 

Bottled water, canned drinks and snacks are available in our gift shop. A water fountain and water bottle filler is available near restrooms in the Visitor Center. Picnicking is permitted, however no glass containers, alcohol, chairs or tables may be brought in except for certain events like music nights or star nights when chairs are permitted. 

Other gift shop items include t-shirts, water bottles, pencils, hats, books, sunscreen, insect repellant, and various children's items.  Garden members receive a discount on gift shop purchases.
