Autumn In the Garden

Thursday, September 24, 2020 (All day) to Thursday, October 29, 2020 (All day)

Celebrate the changing of the season with pumpkins, hay maze and our annual Scarecrow display. 

Daily: Explore our pumpkin display with over 5,000 pumpkins, a hay maze and our annual scarecrow display - Vote for your favorite scarecrow to win the People's Choice Award! 
NOTE: Friday, Oct. 2 the pumpkin display, hay maze and scarecrow display will be closed for set up for Art Fair. All other garden areas will be open.

SPECIAL EVENTS:
Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 3 & 4: Art Fair 

Shop and support local artists at booths in the lawn and along Garden paths. Art will include paintings, pottery, jewelry, mosaics and more. General admission. Advance Tickets required.

Thursday, Oct. 29, 5-7 p.m.: BOO-tanical
Families can trick-or-treat in the Children's Discovery Garden for non-scary, fun.  Pete Tomshany will play live music in the Carter/Sherry Families Tree Fort. Tickets are $3/member child (12 and under) and $6/non-member child. Regular admission for adults. Garden will be open until 8 p.m.

Thursdays are Music Nights - the Garden will be open until 8 p.m. with live music 6-8 p.m. and food truck and bar.  Bring your own chairs or blanket to set up on our lawn

All the activities listed above are regular admission unless otherwise indicated. Advance tickets are currently required and can be purchased here.  (Members must have advance tickets - remember to log in to see member pricing). Mask/face coverings are strongly encouraged inside visitor center, restrooms, and outside when physical distancing is not possible. 

Fall Plant Sale (Online)

Our Fall Plant Sale will be done through online purchases only.  Proceeds from our plant sales help support the Garden. As always Garden members will have first chance to purchase and receive their discount on purchases.  Join as a member now!

MEMBERS - You MUST log in to be able to purchase plants.  Do not create a new account.  See our short tutorial (it's about getting tickets, but login instructions are the same) 

DON'T FORGET - Choose your pickup date and time before check out. 

Members First Plant Sale – starts Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. on Friday night.  Members get 10% discount on purchases.  Members at the Supporting Level and above now receive 25% discount on plant purchases! Not a Garden member?  Join now to shop first and receive a discount on your purchase. 

Sale opens to public at 12 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 through Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

Shopping: A list of plants available for the sale will be published closer to sale date.  Watch this page and follow our Facebook event for updates and videos or live events to show plants prior to sale date. 

Pick up: During you purchase, you will need to select a day and time slot for picking up your plants.  Pick up dates are: Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 2, and 3 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. 
Procedures and dates/times to pickup plants will be strictly adhered to. Garden staff will pull and prepare your plant order for pickup in your vehicle. (there will be no shopping/plant selection at pickup). Plant orders not picked up by Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m. will be cancelled.

DOG DAY - Advance Tickets Required

Sunday, September 27, 2020 - 10:00am to 5:00pm

Tulsa Botanic Garden is opened with a limited capacity. Open Hours, until further notice: Monday-Sunday (7 days/week), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Advance tickets, with timed entry, via online or phone purchase are required.  Admission is FREE for Garden members;  $8 for ages 13+, $4 for ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free. Admission is free for Garden member dogs (on Dog Days) and $4 for non-member dogs.

** SUNDAYS in September are DOG DAYS, a special day when your four-legged family member can join you for a walk in the Garden.  Member dogs are free; Non-members $4/dog.  Advance tickets are required for all.  Note: Dogs must be controlled on a non-retractable leash at all times and be current on all vaccinations and registrations. Water bowls will be set out. Owners must clean up after their dog.

Discounted admission for SNAP/WIC participants is available: $1 for up to four people (ages 13+). Children 12 and under in group are free. Advance tickets are required and must be obtained by calling 918-289-0330. EBT card and photo ID required at check-in.

Timed entry slots are: 10 a.m.-noon, 1-3 p.m., and 3-5 p.m.  No admission to Garden between noon and 1 p.m
 (You can arrive anytime during your time slot and do not need to leave before it ends-except for 5 p.m. when Garden closes. In the event of inclement weather, you may request change of ticket date within 7 days of your originally scheduled visit. Tickets not used will be considered a donation to the Garden.)

The health and safety of our guests and staff remain our top priority. In line with CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), and state and local health department guidelines regarding COVID-19, the Botanic Garden has the following protocols and safety meaures in place:

  • Garden staff members are wearing masks and guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks/face coverings, especially inside the Visitor Center and restroom where physical distancing of 6 ft. is not possible.
  • Reminders to practice social distancing while enjoying the Garden’s beauty are placed in strategic areas.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at stations in Garden areas.
  • Plexiglas screens are installed at welcome desks in the Visitor Center.
  • Only credit cards are being accepted – no cash transactions at this time.
  • Gift shop will not be open for shopping but items including bottled water, sodas, chips and candy will be available for purchase at entry. (Outside food and drink is allowed, no alcohol or glass). You are welcome to shop online and schedule curbside pick-up. 
  • Seating/waiting areas inside Visitor Center are not available.
  • High-touch items in the Children’s Discovery Garden, such as paint brushes, dress-up items, and mallets for musical instruments have been put away.
  • Drinking fountains are inoperable. Refillable water bottle station will be operable.
  • Hand dryers in restrooms are turned off. Paper towels will be available.
  • All touchable surfaces inside our Visitor Center and restrooms are being cleaned hourly.

Walk & Talk: Make a Posie

Sunday, September 27, 2020 - 2:00pm to 2:45pm

Join Children's Discovery Garden curator Ellen Weatherholt in the Barbara and James Sturdivant Family Children's Amphitheatre for a tutorial on creating small bouquets with a wide variety of flowers. All materials will be provided. Limited to first twenty participants. Participants are asked to wear masks and physically distance with others not in their group.
