Check out the events happening at the Garden in November. Please note our hours have changed.

Starting Nov. 1-23, Garden hours will be 12-5 p.m.. Garden hours on Nov. 18 and 20 will be 12-3 p.m.

Starting Nov. 25 through December, the Garden will be closed during the day and open on select nights for Botanic Garden of Lights.

Tuesday, November 1: Garden Closed – due to interior road construction the Garden will be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience. We expect to be open on Wednesday,  Nov. 2.

Friday, November 4, 1 p.m.: First Friday Horticulture Tour
Join a staff horticulturist for a walking tour exploring the Garden. Tour is free with admission, but pre-registration via the website is required

Saturday, November 5, 12 p.m.: Tree Fort Storytime with Sign Language Interpreter
Meet in our Tree Fort in the Children’s Discovery Garden as guest reader, Betty Casey, children’s author and editor of Tulsa Kids magazine reads her children’s books. Diana Emerson, certified interpreter and program director for THSA will interpret the story reading in sign language. Free with admission.

Thursday, November 10, 6-7:30 p.m.: INFUSED, Botanic Cocktail Hour: Autumn Edition
Experience cocktails infused with the flowers, fruits, and foliage of Tulsa Botanic Garden! Horticulturist and bartender Jeffrey Fox will demonstrate how to feature the tastes and smells of your garden in homemade cocktails. Tickets include: infused spirit tasting, two cocktails, two mocktails, light charcuterie, recipe cards, and admission to the garden. Age 21+ event. Member Tickets: $80; Non-Members: $90

Friday, November 11, 12-5 p.m.: Veteran’s Day
In honor of Veteran’s Day, all active and veteran military personnel will receive free admission.

Saturday, November 12, 12.-5 p.m.: Second Saturday Dog Day
Dog Days are special days when your four-legged family member can join you for a walk (and sniff) in the Garden. From 12 to 3 p.m., Animal Aid of Tulsa will be onsite with animals looking for their forever homes. Bring a camera to take pictures at our holiday photo stop. From 12 to 3 p.m., we will be offering FREE professional holiday photos for guests! Pose with your pups and check those holiday card photos off your to-do list. Free for Garden members. Regular admission for non-members. Dog admission is free in November.

Tuesday, November 15: National Philanthropy Day
Donate $5 or more to the Garden for a chance to win a membership. Visit tulsabotanic.org or call 918-289-0330.

Friday, November 18, 6-9 p.m.: Lumières du Jardin
This annual fundraising dinner in the Garden’s Mabee Grange will feature a French Bistro wine dinner by William Lyle, executive chef of The Summit Club, and celebrate the newly released Beaujolais Nouveau wines and preview Botanic Garden of Lights. Tickets $500/person. Proceeds benefit the Garden. Reservation deadline: Nov.11.

Friday, November 25, 5-9 p.m.: Botanic Garden of Lights – Kickoff Night
One of Tulsa’s newest holiday traditions kicks off on Friday, November 25 when Tulsa Botanic Garden’s holiday festival, Botanic Garden of Lights begins. Stroll through the Garden illuminated in colorful lights, enjoy holiday music, visit with Botanic St. Nick and more. See schedule of events for planning family visit, girls’ night out or a date night. Advance, timed entry tickets are required. Advance tickets are $15 for ages 16+, $5 for ages 3-15. Garden member tickets are discounted.

Tuesday, November 29, 6-8 p.m.: Wreath Workshop with Anthousai Floral
Get in the holiday spirit by creating a wreath for your seasonal décor. Staff from Anthousai Floral will lead a workshop where you can make a wreath and decorate it with accent pieces like pinecones, dried textures, berries, ribbon and dried oranges. Ticket includes materials, holiday mocktail and s’more kit. Members: $90; Non-member: $100.

A limited number of ‘add-on’ tickets ($30) will be available to purchase to allow a friend, date or family member (age 16+) to attend with a member/non-member ticket holder to work together on one wreath. Add-on ticket includes access to the class, one mocktail and one s’mores kit.
