Celebrate Grand Opening of the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces.
Come be one of the first to enjoy the Tandy Floral Terraces at Tulsa Botanic Garden! The A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces is our 3½ acre ornamental garden featuring over 300 different plant varieties and over 7,500 trees, roses, perennials, grasses, vines, and flowering shrubs in all! Climb the stairway of the Garden Cascade to see the seasonal display surrounding the central runnel, a water feature emanating at the garden’s peak and flowing down to the Lakeside Plaza. Or stroll the serpentine walkway (ADA) to take in the beautiful colors and views of the Rose, Perennial and Mediterranean terraces. Purchase snacks/lunch from food trucks at the Botanic Garden from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission is free both days of Grand Opening Celebration, and always free for members.
SATURDAY, OCT. 3: Member’s Preview
10 a.m. – noon – Botanic Garden members have exclusive access!
10:30 a.m. – Pop-Up Pavilion Talk – Building the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces
11 a.m. – Member’s Garden Tour
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks: The Dog House, The Local Table, and Josh’s Sno Shack
NOON – GARDEN OPENS TO PUBLIC

1 p.m. – RIBBON-CUTTING
2 p.m. – Garden Tour
2:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Music from Klondike 5 String Band
3:30 p.m. – Pop-Up Pavilion Talk – Art Deco in the Garden
4:00 p.m. – Garden Tour
4:30 p.m. – Pop-Up Pavilion Talk – Stones in the Garden
5:00 p.m. – Garden closes
