Enjoy a day at the Botanic Garden with an ‘artful’ pumpkin patch featuring hundreds of glass-blown pumpkins in all colors and sizes! Artists from Tulsa Glassblowing School who crafted the pumpkins will be on hand and the pumpkins will be available for sale ranging in price from $15 to $250. Garden Deva will have fun, fall-themed metal sculpture and art pieces for purchase as well.
Families can enjoy activities throughout the day including story time, hay maze, scavenger hunt, crafts and games. Famiilies can work with artists from Tulsa Glassblowing School to make a glass mosaic tile to take home ($10 for materials).
While at the Botanic Garden, visitors can explore the newly opened A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces and walk the Lake trail to see “Scarecrows In the Garden” – scarecrows created by businesses, organizations, scouts, and schools, for display in the planting beds along the Lake trail from Oct. 8 to Nov. 8. Visitors can vote for their favorite scarecrow to win the People’s Choice award.
