Wildflower gardens can offer a lower-maintenance option to your landscape while also attracting pollinators like butterflies and bees. Learn how to prepare, plant and cultivate a seed mix for wildflower gardening from Garden horticulturist Matthew Southall.
Materials are included with class registration and include a variety of seeds, potting mix and small plastic container for growing seeds. Seeds include: Echinacea purpurea, Gaillardia pulchella, Ammi majus, Chrysanthemum carinatum (painted daisy), Cosmos bipinnatus, Asclepias syriaca, Zinnia elegans, Collinsia heterophylla, Foeniculum vulgare, Coreopsis lanceolata and Cosmos sulphereus.
Materials kit must be picked up at the Garden Visitor Center.
