 August 2019 Calendar of Events 
It’s our last month of summer Thursday hours (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)  – starting in September, late night Thursdays will end at 8 p.m. The Garden is lush and full of blooms!  Look for hummingbirds, butterflies, dragonflies and more flying through the Garden. 

Thursday, August 1, 6:30 p.m.: Garden to Table Dinner with Chef Kathy Bondy – Limited tickets available.
We’ll be inside our Mabee Grange with a delicious 4-course dinner by Kathy Bondy, owner/chef of French Hen Bistro & Wine Bar,  Tom and Jane Lerum of Joullian Vineyards & Winery will share their wine pairings.  

Thursday, August 1, 5-9 p.m.: Dog Night
Sunday, August 4, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Dog Day
Four-legged pups can join their owners during these special days/times for a walk to enjoy the sights and sniffs at the Garden. Free for Garden members; regular admission for non-members and $4 for non-member dogs.  

August 15 – Registration for Scarecrows In the Garden opens! 

Thursdays, August 8-29, 6-8 p.m.: Family Craft Night
Bring the family out for a different nature-themed craft each week. Drop in between 6 and 8 p.m. then head out to explore the Garden until we close at 9 p.m.) Free with admission. 
August 8: Seed Mosaics
August 15: Petal Mandalas
August 22: Drawing Flowers
August 29: Nature Collages

Saturday, August 24. 2 p.m.: Carnivorous Plants
Families can learn how and why some plants “eat” bugs! Activities begin with story at 2 p.m. followed by crafts and a look at carnivorous plants in the Children’s Discovery Garden. Free with admission. 

Tickets are on sale for our 4th Annual Literary Brunch – Wicked Plants: Exploring Horticultural Horrors with author Amy Stewart on Saturday, September 28.  

Coming on Friday, September 6 – Star Party! 

Tulsa Botanic Garden is open Tuesday – Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours on Thursdays (9 a.m. to 9 p.m. June-August, then 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time).    Admission is FREE for Garden members; $8 for ages 13+, $4 for ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free. 

Pets are not allowed except for special Dog Days/Nights events as listed on calendar.
