Get in the holiday spirit with a walk at the Garden AND some holiday songs performed by elementary students from Kendall Whittier that participate in Harmony Project Tulsa – an after-school, music-based mentoring program. If weather cooperates we’ll meet on the lawn behind our visitor center, or if needed, we’ll meet inside our Mabee Grange!
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday and come enjoy wonderful music that these students have been learning!
Free with Garden admission.
Harmony Project Tulsa (HPT) is a multi-year, music-based, after-school mentoring program that gives daily academic tutoring, string instrument instruction, and music lessons to students in at-risk communities. HPT is one of nine affiliates of Harmony Project of America, based on the award-winning Harmony Project Los Angeles.
The primary aim of HPT is to build responsible, productive, caring citizens, while using music as a means of positive development and social inclusion.
