Starting June 1, Garden hours for June, July and August will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We’ve got a limited number of plants for sale in the gift shop, including many from our own collections. – see what’s for sale.
Friday, June 2, 10:30 a.m.: First Friday Horticultural Tour
Garden horticulturists lead a 45-minute walk to explore what’s blooming in the Garden. The tour is free with regular admission, but pre-registration is required via the website as tour size is limited.
Thursday, June 8, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: Best Friends Day
Make plants to meet a friend for a stroll in the Garden. We’ll offer buy one admission, get one free via online or at the door (Members included.)
Saturday, June 10, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: Second Saturday Dog Day
Bring your pup for this special day they can join you for a walk in the Garden. Dogs must be on a 6’ or shorter non-retractable leash. Bring your own water bowl. Free for Garden members and their dogs. Regular admission for non-members.
Saturday, June 17, 9:30-11 a.m.: Summer Solstice Yoga & Meditation
Join us for Yoga followed by 30-minute Meditation to wake up the body and refresh the mind! All levels of experience will benefit. Class will be taught by Katie Kelly, Registered Yoga Therapist 200. Tickets: $5 for Garden members; $20 for non-members – includes Garden admission.
Sunday, June 18, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: Father’s Day – Garden closed June 18
Bring dad for a trip to the Botanic Garden! The first 100 fathers will receive a pair of gardening gloves free with admission.
Tuesday, June 20, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: National Pollinator Week: Make & Take Clover Craft – Garden Closed June 20
Plant clovers in a container and take home to watch them grow! Free with admission. Pre-register for craft.
Join us for Celebration of the Grand Opening of the Stanford Family Liberty Garden and Bumgarner Family Foundation Lotus Pool!
Due to the severe storms and power outages, we are rescheduling the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the Stanford Family Liberty Garden and Bumgarner Family Foundation Lotus Pool to a later date in July. We will post/announce new dates soon. We will still offer half price admission June 23 (or whatever date we reopen after June 23) through June 30 with non-perishable food item donation. June 23-30 – Garden admission will be half price at the door with donation to our canned food drive benefiting Iron Gate and Help Works, Inc.
Friday, June 23, 10 a.m.: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell and Mayor G.T. Bynum are scheduled to join us for ribbon cutting ceremony as we open two new gardens: the Stanford Family Liberty Garden and Bumgarner Family Foundation Lotus Pool. Everyone is invited to a short ceremony and ribbon cutting. Activities and crafts will start after the ribbon cutting ceremony. Food from our Garden of Eatin’ will be available for sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and drinks will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, June 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Members’ Opening Party
Join us for Members’ Opening Party in the new gardens! Bring a picnic or buy food at our Garden of Eatin’ and grab a drink at the bar. We’ll have Josh’s Sno Cone truck here with complimentary snow cones, live music from The Dandies, tours of the new gardens and our Mabee Grange, lawn games and more! Bring your chairs, blankets and the family for a fun night celebrating our members and our new gardens! Admission is free for Garden members, but advance tickets are encouraged. Get tickets online or by phone. Not a member? Join today and ask for tickets for the party!
Saturday & Sunday, June 24 and 25, Grand Opening Activities:
Explore the new gardens, take a tour, make crafts and more. Our Garden of Eatin’ will be selling food/snacks 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Bar open 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
